biography

I've been riding bikes since I was a kid. Started by racing BMX in the Market St. trails, which we built ourselves.Took a brief hiatus during my teenage years. Began riding again when I was 25 years old. Started with SBRA, then East End Cycling team. Started racing in 1998. Raced for a couple years locally before cycling took a backseat while I attended college. Attended and graduated Suffolk Community College Magna Cum Laude with an A.A.S. in Liberal Arts, member Phi Theta Kappa. Continued on to St Joseph's College in Patchogue where I am currently working towards my Bachelors in Organizational Management. I am employed by National Grid in Hicksville, L.I.. I am an Electric System Operator in the LIPA control center. I have been employed with National Grid or it's precursor Keyspan since 1999.

I am above all a married father of 1. My cycling would not be possible without the continued support of my loving wife Jen, and the inspiration I draw from my sweet little daughter Ava.

When I am not riding I am a volunteer fireman in Port Jefferson, NY, or working on my " MONEY PIT "
