Battenkill

This is just a reminder that registration opens TOMORROW EVENING AT 7 PM EST.
Registration link - https://www.bikereg.com/events/register.asp?EventID=14431
Please note your start times.
We anticipate that most fields will fill quickly. Please don't forget!
WAIT LISTS
There are wait lists currently available for most fields. If you are on a wait list, you will be notified via email if a place opens up for you in the race as close to the race day as possible when a spot opens up, in the order that your registered on the wait list. You may view your place on the wait list by sorting by "date entered" using the drop-down menu box at the top.
BIKEREG PROFILES AND EASE-OF-CHECK-IN
PLEASE make sure your profile is accurate with bikereg.com BEFORE registering for the race. Your emergency contact info is a vital part of our safety plan, and your email is the ONLY way we will contact you ahead of the race for updates, category changes, and other race information.
Also, if you would like to avoid the angry stares and comments behind you in line at race -day check-in because you have to fill out this information at the registration table, I STRONGLY suggest you update this information today. The information you provide at the time of registration tomorrow night is the information we will have. Subsequent updates to your bikereg profile do not get automatically transferred into our database.
CURRENT COURSE CONDITION: EXCELLENT
The course is open and the food in Cambridge is great. Stop by the Cambridge Hotel, the Country Gals Diner, or any of the local restaurants for some great food & drink after you try the new course. The dirt roads are in great shape and are often the first to be clear of snow after a storm. There are some rough sections of pavement in various locations, so please be careful.
Please practice safe riding by riding single file while in traffic, obeying traffic signals and signs, and by doing the 'Washington County Wave' (extend left hand up and wave) to the passing cars and residents on the course who make the event possible with their volunteer and municipal support each year. It's their 'back yard' in which we are able to host North America's largest Pro/Am road cycling race. Acknowledging this with a simple wave or "thank you" goes quite a bit further than you may think when we have to solicit their support each year.
Course maps are linked here http://www.tourofthebattenkill.com/race-information/
