Kreb Friday Night 8/19

Kris, Chris and I showed up for the second to last Friday night race of the year. A good group turned out with lots of fast guys to keep everyone honest.

I tried to be active in the opening laps, staying near the front and getting in moves that I thought might work. At one point I bridged to a move that had Brian, Joe, Eric and a Die Hard in it that I was certain had the necessary people to stick, but we were brought back in less than a lap. By 10 to go, I knew it was coming down to a sprint and started trying to save energy. Going into the last lap, Eric and Roy had a decent gap off the front. Kris put a big effort in to chase them down and Greg pulled through up the back side. It was just enough to let me jump the gap over the top of the hill and pass Eric for the win.
