I commit to never blog any recent thing I have done. In the interest of trying something different I am going to blog ONLY goals, observations or learning experiences.
Every January for more years than I can remember. The week before the Super Bowl. Me and 7 High School Buddies continue our tradition of the 'Guys Ski Trip' this trip comes along every year...and every year I dread it. Every year, I promise my wife "Honey, this is the last one" and every year like clockwork, I get talked into going again and again and again.
Anyone who has read my previous blog...knows that I had mixed emotions regarding yesterdays ride. It bothered me still this morning. And boy was I planning on riding with Anger today. Problem is...the weather is brutal, and the winds were howling. But deep down I felt if I didn't ride today..I would still be mad at myself. Beacuse it is my warped mind that makes me do what I do.
It's Sunday morning and I am getting geared up for another ride...a long one , maybe 3 hours plus today. Nothing crazy , but I am looking to maintain my cadence , keep the machine at a consistant pace, I am just looking to get the work in for todays ride.
A nice clear, dry and sunny day. Just cold with temps all day just around freezing. A just little wind was expected Py tested how it feels without his wind breaker layer, well, a little chilly moving fast at the beginning, but quite OK later. Still, he like it better with it.
