Well after some carefull consideration and lack of Grapes. I have opted to outfit my Cannondale R2000 into my Time Trialing Machine. I mean..this frame has been sitting on my bike stand for ages. It is very light and sports a very aggressive stance, it should do the trick. Besides...everything I have read states that most of the resistance is Body position (almost 80%) so ,as long as I can get Aero enough...I should be fine.

Thats the remark that has stuck in my mind lately! I must note, that I have been unable to muster to strength to pull the trigger on my Time Trial Machine as of today. I mean, I have spent a 1000 hours on line looking at different options and build packages. I know what I want, I know what I would like to have, I have even fantasized, well, maybe I have daydreamed about this new found ride. You would think I could just go ahead amd make this leap. But no....You see I have a problem with making decisions that has plaqued me in many aspects of my life lately.

I believe it might have been 13 or 14 years ago when one of my most infamous life moments and sporting beatings ever took place. I was the Quaterback for Mikes Place Flag Football team back then. We were 7-1 and leading our division. Everything was great...well sort of.

A couple days ago I wrote about the road hazards that face every cyclist. When I was writing it, I began to feel like maybe this is something I shouldn't talk about. Like maybe I might place some bad omen or taboo on myself or another rider. You know, Sometimes things are better left unsaid. And wouldn't you know it...a day or two after writing it some heroin addict runs over a female cyclist riding on Rt 25 in Miller Place. Are you kdding me...wtf???? She gets hit from behind, which is the worst of the worst scenerio's.... you can't see it coming and you cannot make any emergency manuevers.

Well, it's been a while since my last entry, so you can probably guess that I have been alittle busy lately. This happens every spring it seems, I start to build a nice fitness base, I start getting really fast and strong on the bike and then...bamm! Life gets in the way, it's okay...these things happen.
